ANSI MH29.3-2023, Safety Requirements for Industrial Turntables This standard applies to industrial turntables designed to rotate in the horizontal plane that are activated manually, or by hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical means. Industrial turntables can be stationary or movable, and manual or powered. They are used to rotate, position, feed, transfer, load, or unload materials only. Industrial turntables are not intended to move personnel. Industrial turntables are available in a range of capacities, sizes, and degrees of rotation. The purpose of this standard is to establish criteria for the design, manufacture, performance, and operation of industrial turntables, and to prevent personal injuries and accidents. |
ANSI MH29.1-2020 Safety Requirements-Industrial Scissor Lift ANSI MH29.1 was approved and published in 2012, this ANSI MH29.1 standard was developed to provide a comprehensive safety standard and establish a minimum design and performance criteria to ensure the safe application and utilization of industrial scissors lifts. This ANSI MH29.1 standard is intended to serve as a guide for designers, manufacturers, sellers, installers, equipment specifiers, owners, users and governing bodies of industrial scissors lifts. The ANSI MH29.1 standard now comes with a complimentary copy of the Safety Label Brochure for Industrial Scissors Lifts. |
ANSI MH29.2-2020 Safety Requirements-Industrial Tilters This standard applies to industrial tilters that are rotated about a horizontal axis by means of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, or electro/mechanical actuation. Industrial tilters can be stationary or movable and are generally used to position, feed, transfer, load, or unload materials only. This standard does not apply to dumpers or upenders where angular travel exceeds 110 degrees, invertors and rotators, refuse dumpers, self-dumping hoppers, or truck mounted dump bodies. |
A Guide to Industrial Scissor Lifts and Tilters This document is designed to help individuals, end users, and specifiers in identifying a proper industrial scissor lift for their application. |
Operational Guide for Lifting Devices The Operational Guide for Lifting Devices are guidelines intended to provide you with general procedures for installation, inspection, maintenance and repairs, and operation and operator training for lifting devices. Lifting devices, sometimes called |
Safety Label Brochure for Industrial Scissor Lifts and Tilters Safety is a prime consideration in the design, manufacture, installation, use and maintenance of industrial scissors lifts and tilt tables. This brochure, prepared by Lift Manufacturers (LIFT), has been created as a service to users, designers, and specifiers of industrial scissors lifts and tilt tables. The purpose of this publication is to provide guidelines for the selection and application for safety labels for use on lifts and tilt tables. Included in the brochure are full color references to 13 Danger or Warning labels specifically designed to comply with ANSI standards Z535 series and ANSI MH29.1 Safety Requirements for Industrial Scissors Lifts and Tilt Tables.
