It was developed by MHI, along with the Institute of Caster and Wheel Manufacturers (“ICWM”), one of its Industry Groups, and is intended to provide useful information and guidance for owners, users, designers, purchasers and/or specifiers of material handling equipment or systems.

Breanna Schneider, University of Wisconsin-Madison
The 2023 Sabine Batsche Memorial Scholarship sponsored by ICWM has been awarded to Breanna Schneider, a senior Supply Chain Management student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also studying Operations and Technology Management with a certificate in Data Science. This summer she will intern at W.W. Grainger as a Global Supply Chain Intern. Currently she is working as a tutor for the UW-Madison Athletics Office as well as continuing her summer of 2022 internship as a Market Research Intern for Breakthrough Fuel. At Breakthrough she is involved in developing data-driven energy and freight market insights. Breanna plans to enter the workforce after graduation and eventually earn an MBA in Supply Chain Management.
