Cherry's Industrial Equipment, an engineering and manufacturing company dedicated to solving workflow and safety issues in the workplace, today announced the appointment of Jason Podjasek of St. Charles, IL to the position of Corporate Account Manager.
In this role, he will help establish new accounts and work with existing clients across Cherry’s national territory. His work will concentrate on, but not be limited to, the dairy, cheese and egg, beverages, confectionary and building supplies sectors. His work will include dealing with major accounts with multiple locations.
Podjasek comes to Cherry’s from the software industry, where he spent the last six years. His work included selling CAD (Computer Aided Design) software and well as Lab Info Management Systems software. He spent his time at two different locations: GoEngineer at Itasca, IL, where he was a Territory Manager, and Bassetti Americas in suburban Chicago, where his role was Strategic Account Manager.
The Eastern Illinois University graduate enjoys weekend golf, and spending time with his family. He resides in St. Charles with his wife, Lindsey, and son Tyler. He has also been a basketball coach for a children’s team.
