AS/RS for an automated cold storage facility Case Study

NewCold is a leader in developing and operating highly automated cold stores. The Project: New construction of an automated cold storage facility with approx. 90,000 pallet positions in Burley, Idaho, USA. NewCold was looking for a fully capable alternative to its initial provider – and found the perfect partner in MIAS. We were very pleased with the cooperation regarding the controls for the shuttle unit: NewCold was able to integrate the experience gained from previous projects into the control concept, thereby considerably improving the availability of the overall system.
