Demag’s Electric Chain Hoist For Wind Power Generation Station Maintenance

A company, well known to the wind power industry, who installed over 300 units in Grover, Texas needed a method of lifting heavy tools and spare parts to the nacelle for maintenance and repair of their Wind Generating Turbines. The problem was, they need to lift up to 425 feet. Demag met the challenge and developed a hoist specifically for maintenance of wind power generators.
