The company deals with a lot of snow and ice. When they load/unload staged trailers, the trailers tend to get pushed forward, causing “RIG Wedge,” where the trailer’s Rear Impact Guard (RIG) applies pressure to the vehicle restraint and doesn’t allow the restraint’s hook to disengage.
