Automotive Assembly Plant Improves Productivity with AGVs

Racks of stamped parts are off loaded at several docks onto gravity fed conveyors. A system of automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) delivers full racks of stamped parts to over and under conveyors. Indexing of conveyors creates the automatic demand for additional AGV delivered parts, Empty are then returned by AGVs to the originating dock for return to vendor.
