Demag Electric Rope Hoist 24-Hour Operation

Industry: Steel Industry Application: Blume Steel Service Ltd. is using wire rope hoists on a Demag Crane to transport and handle steel sheets and plates. The Demag double girder overhead traveling crane is “gently” handling heavy steel sheets and plates when needed, but also travels fast when required. The customer also depends on a high level of reliability for the crane, which is in continuous operation 24 hours, every day. Solution: Demag 20 Ton DRPRO hoists on a Demag crane. The two hoists are equipped with 2-speed lift, and mounted on a double girder top running trolley. The crane is a top running double girder configuration utilizing a box girder.
