Controller/Analyst (San Dimas, CA or Paris, KY)

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller/Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, providing insightful analysis, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes. This position offers the opportunity to work in either our San Dimas, CA or Paris, KY location, providing flexibility for the right candidate.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Financial Reporting and Analysis:**
   - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
   - Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
   - Collaborate with department heads to develop and track key performance indicators.

2. **Budgeting and Forecasting:**
   - Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
   - Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

3. **Cash Management:**
   - Oversee cash flow planning and ensure adequate funding for operational needs.
   - Manage banking relationships and optimize cash positions.

4. **Internal Controls:**
   - Implement and maintain strong internal control procedures.
   - Ensure compliance with accounting policies and relevant regulations.

5. **Process Improvement:**
   - Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.

6. **Financial Compliance:**
   - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
   - Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis and control roles.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
